VII. Sacraments
 
  7.1 Life Sacraments  
  Article 164-Society Sacraments  
  Canon 2962  
  Society Sacraments are thirteen (13) of the thirty three (33) sacred rites of the supremely sacred covenant Pactum De Singularis Caelum instituted by the Divine Creator and entrusted to the Society of One Heaven and all associated valid entities.  
  Canon 2963  
  As society actions of the Divine Creator and One Heaven they are signs and gifts which express and strengthen the society and effect the sanctification of a community and thus contribute in the greatest way to establish, strengthen, and manifest spiritual unity. Accordingly, in the celebration of these society sacraments the sacred ministers and the other members of the faithful must use the greatest veneration and necessary diligence.  
  Canon 2964  
  There are thirteen (13) Society Sacraments being Concordance, Union, Unity, Celebration, Anniversary, Foundation, Consecration, Graduation, Promulgation, Registration, Jubilee, Inauguration and Conclave.  
  Canon 2965  
  Since the Society Sacraments are the same for every faith and Society, it is only for the supreme authority of the Society of One Heaven to approve or define the requirements for their validity and what pertains to their licit celebration, administration, and reception and to the order to be observed in their celebration.  
  Canon 2966  
  Sacred ministers cannot deny a society sacraments to those who seek them at appropriate times, are properly disposed, and are not prohibited by law from receiving them.  
  Canon 2967  
  All ministers, according to their respective ecclesiastical function, have the duty to take care that those who seek a society sacraments are prepared to receive them by proper instruction, attentive to the norms issued by competent authority.  
  Canon 2968  
  Since Society Sacraments imprint a character, they cannot be repeated.  
  Canon 2969  
  If after completing a diligent inquiry a prudent doubt still exists whether one or more Society Sacrament were actually or validly conferred, they are to be conferred conditionally.  
  Canon 2970  
  In celebrating society sacraments the liturgical books approved by competent authority are to be observed faithfully; accordingly, no one is to add, omit, or alter anything in them on one’s own authority.  
  Canon 2971  
  The minister is to seek nothing for the administration of any society sacraments beyond the offerings defined by competent authority, always taking care that the needy are not deprived of the assistance of the sacraments because of poverty.
