My Lord and God,
It is not money you condemn,
but its worship as a false idol.

My Lord,
It is not the gathering of wealth you caution
But such wealth serves no one but its temporary owner.

From dust we are made and dust we shall return.
Nothing in life such as wealth is permanent
Except how it is used wisely.

Help us then Oh lord to hear your voice and your guidance
So that in honor of your blessings,
we may best use our prosperity to help others.
