Wherever you are,
And whoever you are;
Whether you still remember me,
And even if you are still alive,
I pray to the Angels and my Guardians
That they deliver this prayer to you:
I love you Father,
I love you Mother.
Even though we have never spoken,
Even though we have never kissed,
Even though you missed my childhood,
Even though you were not there to comfort me.
I forgive you,
So I may heal myself.
Your loss is not my loss,
Your grief is not my grief,
My life is not less because of you,
I am not less because of you.
It is you Mother who have lost so much
Because of the choice you felt you needed to make.
It is you Father who holds any grief,
For not being part of my life.
Yet even though you have chosen to be absent,
Your pain and grief affects me,
Because I am of your blood,
I am of your making.
So Mother I release you of your pain,
Father, I release you of your grief.
I forgive you both,
Because I love you,
Because I love myself,
Because I forgive myself of any doubts,
Because I am healed
I am whole
I know who I am,
Even if you do not. |
