O Divine Creator, heavenly Father,

whose will inspired all there is,

whose wisdom brought life to this planet,

whose infinite love helps sustain all living things:

We entreat thee, in this time of need.

Grant us relief from these extremes of hardship,

that life upon these lands may survive and grow

and continue to worship your name and wonders.

Let the rains come and waters flow in near haste,

if it be your will.
